Welcome to the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District, located in northeast Orange County, California! The district serves the cities of Placentia and Yorba Linda as well as portions of Anaheim, Brea, Fullerton, and rapidly developing county territory that reaches the Riverside County line. How to Enroll
Students gain the advantage of an outstanding education when they enroll in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. The district accepts new students on an ongoing basis through different processes outlined below.

New Student Online Enrollment: If you reside inside district boundaries and wish to attend school in PYLUSD, please complete our New Student Online Enrollment process at www.pylusd.org/newstudentenrollment.

Interdistrict Transfers: If you reside outside of district boundaries and wish to attend a school in PYLUSD, you must obtain an interdistrict transfer form from your home school district. Please complete the interdistrict transfer form and:

School Choice Transfers (Intradistrict): If you reside inside district boundaries and wish to attend a PYLUSD school other than your home school of residence, please fill out an application at www.pylusd.org/schoolchoice during the district's annual School Choice Transfer Request in the Aeries Parent Portal.

Preschool Enrollment (Fee-Based or State): PYLUSD offers fee-based and state preschools at various sites. The district’s preschool programs were developed to ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential and enter transitional kindergarten or kindergarten healthy and ready to learn. Both preschool programs serve children ages 2.9 (by Sept.1) to 5 years old.
