PRESCHOOL-EARLY LEARNING

Our preschool programs were developed to ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential and enter kindergarten healthy and ready to learn. To achieve this goal our programs implement high-quality educational standards and components including regular assessment of student development, reliable program evaluation system, developmentally, linguistically, and culturally appropriate education program, collaborative partnerships with families and the community, and comprehensive support services to ensure children and families' needs are met.

We offer fee-based and state-funded ("income and need" eligible qualifying program) programs within the school district's boundaries. Our five preschool programs are designed for children who turn two years and nine months old by September 1 of each year and who are potty trained. Our programs are multi-age programs, with students ages two years and nine months to five together in a classroom.

Preschool curriculum follows the California Preschool Learning Foundations and the California Preschool Curriculum framework from the California Department of Education, Early Learning Division.
