World-renowned, the IB Program is a demanding pre-university course of study designed to give diploma holders access to the world’s leading higher education institutions. In 2021, Valencia High School awarded the highest number of IB Diplomas in Orange County with a total of 72. Comparatively, the next highest number of IB Diplomas awarded was 30 at Troy High School, 29 at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, and 28 at Sunny Hills High school.
The Cambridge AICE Program, new to Valencia this school year, offers an international curriculum and examination system that emphasizes the value of broad and balanced study. Alongside in-depth understanding of a variety of subjects, students also need to master a broader range of skills critical for success in university study and employment. The Cambridge AICE Program allows for a flexible international curriculum that makes the diploma accessible to students.
It is Valencia High School's renowned international diploma programs that set it apart from others. Prospective students and families from public and private schools, both from inside and outside of the district, are invited and encouraged to attend this informational evening to learn more about the prestigious academy programs. Questions about the program and the application process will be answered at this time.
Families who are unable to attend this meeting, but desire more information about either of the programs, should visit www.vhstigers.org/IB/ or www.vhstigers.org/cambridge/.
