The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) will celebrate California Week of the Teacher, affectionately known as Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-9, 2020.
As outlined in “The PYLUSD Advantage,” the District’s mission states: “We inspire all students through rigorous and relevant educational experiences that empower them to become responsible, ethical, and contributing citizens.”
This purposeful mission, of which is nearly impossible without the dedication of the District’s exceptional educators, is more important now than ever before. It is for that reason, and so many more, that the District spends an entire week giving huge ‘thanks’ to our devoted teachers.
So if you know a PYLUSD teacher, thank them! Send them a thoughtful email, record a fun video, or give them a shoutout on the District's Instagram Stories this week.
