The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) will celebrate California Week of the Teacher, affectionately known as Teacher Appreciation Week, May 1-7, 2022.
Outlined in the strategic plan, The PYLUSD Advantage, the district’s mission states: “We inspire all students through rigorous and relevant educational experiences that empower them to become responsible, ethical, and contributing citizens.”
This purposeful mission, the very reason the organization exists, would be rendered impossible without the dedication of the district’s talented educators. This school year, PYLUSD teachers have worked exceptionally hard to ensure students were able to experience educational success in a more traditional school setting—in spite of continued challenges surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. It is for this reason, and so many more, that the district spends an entire week showing appreciation to our devoted teachers.
