The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District is pleased to invite the community to its annual “ArtWorks!” district art show from April 2 to April 10 at the district’s Professional Development Academy, located at 4999 Casa Loma Avenue in Yorba Linda.
More than 900 pieces of art produced by students from all grade levels will be on display. Works feature all media, including:
• Two and three-dimensional art such as pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, oil and collage;
• Photography;
• Ceramics and pottery;
• Wood and paper mache pieces; and
• Computer-designed art;
Last year’s event featured the gamut from exquisite watercolor paintings to professional-quality ceramics.
Gallery hours on the first week, April 2-4, are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an opening reception on April 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The second week, April 7-9, the gallery is open Monday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
