In collaboration with the Orange County Transit Authority, the district has been providing school bus transportation for students directly impacted by the Kraemer underpass construction. Approximately 20 students from Valencia High School and 20 from Kraemer Middle School took advantage of free bus services during the last two school years. These students, who reside in the area immediately south of Crowther Ave. and on Orangethorpe Ave., east of Kraemer Blvd., will no longer be provided school bus transportation effective this September.
During the construction of bridges at Rose Drive, Orangethorpe (at Miller Ave.) and Lakeview Blvd., the plans include a bypass road. allowing vehicles to travel around the construction zone.
