The district recently launched a “PYLUSD In Action” section on the website where PYLUSD-produced video productions will be available. The link is on the left side of the district's website home page. On the PYLUSD app, it's the "In Action" icon.
Videos are produced by students and staff in El Dorado and Valencia High School’s video production classes taught by teachers Sue Sawyer and Mark Switzer. There is also a video about the district’s Mock Trial program, “How to Use the PYLUSD App,” and “Math Placement for Middle and High School Students.”
Look for the “In Action” button on the left hand side of the district’s website. The videos are also uploaded to the school district’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pylusd.
Bringing the school district experience home to families and the community via videos is one more way that the district is utilizing all available resources to communicate with district stakeholders and the community at large, which is initiative 3.3 of the school district’s five-year strategic plan.
