Outstanding PYLUSD Jazz Bands

The Reno Jazz Festival is the premiere event for High School and College Jazz bands west of the Rocky Mountains. These Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District jazz bands earned superior ratings and placed in the top five bands in their respective divisions.

A special congratulations goes to Trombonist Andrew Munoz, from Esperanza High School for being named one of the Outstanding High School Performers at the festival.

We are so proud of our music educators: Eric Samson from El Dorado High School, Brad Davis from Esperanza High School, Pete Perez from Valencia High School, and Bincins Garcia from Yorba Linda High School.
