What is Parent University?
Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, PYLUSD will offer free workshops on various educational topics so parents and guardians may become better equipped to support their student’s learning. Research indicates that when schools work together with families to support learning, students perform better in school and throughout life.
What is the goal of Parent University?
Our mission is to mobilize parent power and encourage greater family involvement in developing a lasting learning partnership in which parents support their children in achieving academic and personal success.
When are classes offered?

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) values the active role parents and guardians take in their student’s education. In order to support this important relationship, the district offers a comprehensive parent education program known as Parent University.
